The force is with Lego: record set for largest assembly of Star Wars figures

A Lego employee helps to break a record for the largest assembly of Lego Star Wars figures. A total of 35,310 stormtroopers from the new Star Wars: The Clone Wars movie were used to set the record, which forms part of Lego's 50th anniversary celebrations. All proceeds from the attempt went to the National Autistic Society.

Thousands of children and their families broke another record recently by using almost 500,000 Lego bricks to create a 100ft tower at the Legoland theme park in Berkshire. The structure was designed to resemble a Viking longboat mast, to mark the opening of the Land of the Vikings feature.
