To Be Proud or Embarrassed?

Future Blogger

Milan: Mom, I'm taking video...and pictures...

Me: Oh yeah? That's good. (while dazing off in blogland)

Milan: Yep, when I'm done I'm gonna upload them.

She can't remember that she had a birthday and turned 5...in March (still says she's 4) but she understands the word 'upload'....

Its down-right scary isn't it? I mean, my son & daughter fight over the iPod and getting 'online' to send emails and play games...its just plain scary...

Oh, they catch on quickly, don't they? BTW, I'm doing the 6 things *meme* tomorrow, I think. Stay tuned!

oh cute! My little ones can surf the net faster than I can at times and they too forget they had a birthday!

it's a whole different world for our kids, isn't it? we didn't get a home computer until I was 8 or 9, and we certainly weren't uploading anything! (if fact, I think we would have thought that a rather rude remark. "upload this!" ;)

...I'm off to do the meme

Aww..

I always rolled my eyes when my mom started talking about "when I was your age.." Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure my son is going to hear the same thing from me! :)

She is a child of the digital age! I'm proud, and amused [smile].

And she is adorable. [Want. Kids. Now!]

That is hilarious!!

I think I just learned what uploading was a couple of years ago and your 5 year old already knows!

My almost 2 year old says "google" although she has no idea what it means.

Amazing how fast they pick up these things! I just told my husband we have to put parental controls on the tv now because Gus is channel surfing!

Such a beautiful young lady ... she looks so sweet! Also, I noticed the "pillowcase dress". Did you happen to make it. It is very cute!

Hi, How nice of you to answer back so quickly. I have a pattern for that style, with great intentions to make some, the dresses are so cute. However, I have decided to just focus on my aprons. I love children and baby things but I decided it is better to focus. (by the way, I too am a Believer, and I support our military. So a big hug and thank you to your husband for serving our country!)

That's awesome! I find it amazing how integrated technology is into the lives of my kids. They live in a whole different world than the one I grew up in. And I'm not that old! ;)

At that age my daughter would claim she couldn't give out kisses because she was out of them and needed to download more.

Sooooo cute! Reminds me of my son talking to me about google plex at the age of 4. I didn't know what google plex was until, well, high school maybe. Gotta love how advanced and creative our kids are these days!

Love your blog's design BTW.

I love it! Awesome! Kids are so funny. I love the way they pick out and identify adult behaviors to model. Some of the things they choose are just so funny.

BTW: Your header image rocks.

It's this picture (it's on your homeschool blog, too) and that's me in the background. I found your blog through the BOHG and became a little addicted...
