To my top Entrecard droppers for August, I have made you the following:
There are no rules on the "You Are a Beautiful Blogger" award but if you do pass it on please tell 'em where you got it! (If you would be so kind!)
For those who have warmed my heart with their stories (You either a. made me laugh out loud or b. made me cry my eyes out.)...I made you this:
You know, the blog world is very unique in the sense that it has opened up such a huge community outside of our local surroundings. In doing this I really feel like those who touch our hearts have the ability to be seen by many for their actions, rather than so few when it's in person. There isn't a single person on my list that I feel expects recognition despite the potential huge audience in the web. In fact, many on my list don't even use their real name so even if someone who knows them in real life knows their deeds, they still will not receive recognition.
So here it is...those who have blessed me with their words, those who have lifted people up with their prayers, those who have given insight into their own lives in order to make it easier on those who are facing the very same challenges. I am passing this very well-deserved award to those who have shone their light on the rest of us.
Vixen from Vixen's Den who despite loss has been a beacon of light.
Amy from Milk and Cookies as well as Amy from In Pursuit of Proverbs 31. Both of these ladies run The Heart of the Matter magazine. Both flew into immediate care mode when one of The Heart of the Matter sisters suffered the loss of her son. They exemplify light in their daily lives and still have not forgotten the very human ministry online.
Robin from Heart of Wisdom who has continued to be a mentor to women online regarding homeschooling and Christ discipleship despite serious health problems slowing her down the last few years.
Casdok from Mother of Shrek, a HUGE advocate and support in the blog world when it comes to Autism, who just had to make the painful decision to put her dear son into assisted living. She is a single mother and one of the strongest, kindest women I 'know'.
Maddy from Whitter on Autism, another huge advocate in the Autism community online. She would tell me she has done nothing to rate this award...that is how she is. She might even throw in some English slang that I have to Google to understand. Why she does rate this award: a) She is hilarious and honest, both of which go a long way in the special needs world. b) She always responds when I email her in a panic or need clarification on an issue. c) She is very kind when a new mother comes in ready to 'conquer' Autism not to make them feel stupid or unwarranted in their feelings and will stick it out until they fall into peaceful acceptance and joy. And lastly, d) as her online friends will tell you-- she does this with everyone.
Jessica from My Five Little Monkeys, who I will not do justice through a description so you must go read her blog. She epitomizes the word 'survivor'.
Nikowa from Knowledge House Academy, who has suffered loss and survived cancer. She devotes her time online to keeping her faith strong and encouraging other women, particularly homeschooling moms.
This award is for those who have touched your heart. You do not have to be a recipient to pass it on, nor does a recipient need feel obligated to pass it on. I do hope that if you do pass it on it will be given with the same amount of reverence and love in which it was given to you.

By the way, Amy from Dandelion Seeds sent me this and I thought I would share it with all of you:
I have made a post asking for people to cover the Drews family in prayer for 24 hours leading up to the 25th of September, marking one month without "Dozer". Please stop by and add your name if you'd like, and share it on your blog for others that might be willing to "help" this family through prayer.
