dbfsjdgfgt!!!!!!!!!!!

I do not have a dog.

I have 2 cats.

Two, house-trained--know where their litter box is, changed every day, clean cats.

Remember a few weeks ago I spent several days steam cleaning the carpets? Remember how proud I was--how accomplished I felt?

Remember how I told you a few months ago how proud I was of my son who is making money mowing lawns?

Know where this is going??!

My son mowed the yard of one of my neighbors yesterday. Said neighbor has a giant Doberman. Said Doberman has giant...

My son walked ALL OVER my house not knowing what he had on his shoes!!

Guess who was steam cleaning again today while she should have been taking an exam??!

I don't even HAVE a dog!!!

Oh, gosh! I'm a Cat Woman, too. My in-laws have dogs, and I just don't like that stinky Dog Smell, much less the Dog Poop smell. Oh, you poor thing! A funny story to save for his rehearsal dinner, though.

My neighbors have 3 dogs and the do their buisness in their front yard. I despise that they do this, because I have to smell their buisness anytime I am out in my front yard. Getting in and out of my car. I am always telliing my kids to watch out when they are in their yard. Stuff like this reinforces whay I do not want a dog. As much as I love them, I would not care to deal with that part of being a dog owner.

ACK!
Sigh. I sadly know this all too well. Clean carpets, but not for long.

Sad times. All too often life feels like a combination of Murphy's Law and Entropy. Or maybe it's just God's way of keeping us humble. If only we enjoyed it too...

Sorry, but I did chuckle at this.

That stinks!! Big time! But, I chuckled at your "I don't even HAVE a dog" comment. :)

Hope it all came out and maybe that boy learned a little lesson to check his shoes at the door after *certain* lawn mowing jobs.

Ew. I HAVE a dog, but I pick that up twice a day every day. Frankly, people shouldn't get dogs if they don't want to pick up poo. It's not cool to have a yard full of it for people to step in AND the poor dog has to walk around in his own poo all day -- not cool at all.

Oh no!! Yuck! Guess maybe he needs to take his mowing shoes off BEFORE entering the house!

We have four dogs. I'm thankful we live in the country and our nearest neighbor is about a mile down.

Oh WOW! and steam cleaning carpets is not fun work! That totally sucks... reminds me of the old movie Drop Dead Fred when the mom has the carpets cleaned and Fred smears poo all over! Good Luck to you!

ARRRGHHHH!!! I'm so sorry. Yuck! I'm guessing you guys may have a shoes off at the door policy in place now. We went to a craft fair today and my daughters were jumping in the "mud circles" in the field until I realized what they were doing and said stop those are cow patties! They rode home in socks and entered the house in sock feet! Good luck.

NO WAY.

Well, might as well get a big dog with big XXX now!

Dang it . . .

I am always asking Chica & Pumuckl why they arent't willing to help me cleaning up. How wonderful it would be to have cats who can clean up their litter box themselves... but that dog.... ewww...

I agree it is a pain, when you dont even have a dog. It is a pain even if you do. I have awarded you a blog award.

Ugh!!! Dog owner here. Guess what? I clean up the poop and don't let mine out of the fenced in back yard. When we walk the doggies? Oh, we carry loads of plastic. So bad bad neighbor!!

ew.

when I mow there are always giant turds left out by the street by neighbors dogs. i want to leave up a little sign and some extra plastic bags so people can clean up after their dogs!

OMG, I'm so feeling for you. I imagine how heavy your heart felt when you realized what had happened. Kinda like when I stepped in dogdoo in the dark with my barefeet. But I didn't just clean my carpet! I think it would have been very surreal.

Oh I forgot to tell you that I tagged you for a meme. Play if you need a break from poo.
