Passing the Word

Hello! This is Rebecca Kochenderfer from Homeschool.com. I am writing for two reasons:

1) We have been contacted by reporters who are looking for ...

* Wanted - Homeschoolers who have been laid off or somehow lost their jobs due to the economy who have decided to give homeschooling a try. The reporters are particularly interested in individuals who had to pull their children from an expensive private school, but didn't want to put them into a public school.

Please spread the word and if you know of anyone who fits this description, please have them contact Rebecca@Homeschool.com and have them tell me their story.

* Wanted - Homeschoolings Dads. If you know of any homeschooling dads, please have them contact Rebecca@Homeschool.com. How much time do they spend on homeschooling?

Do they also work? If so, how have they been able to arrange their work schedule?

2) Homeschool.com has a position available for someone who can write up our new daily feature called "Homeschooling in the News." This person will need to research and stay up on news-worthy events in homeschooling and also on homeschooling kids who are making the news.

This person should be a good writer. The job pays $150-$200 a month and will probably take an hour+ a day.

You can work from your home as long as you have a fast and reliable Internet connection and computer.

If you are interested in this position, please write to Rebecca@Homeschool.com. I will probably receive hundreds of applications, so please tell me about yourself and the experience you have had that would make you the perfect person for this job

Thank you for your help!

Warmly,

Rebecca Kochenderfer

I very much enjoyed your Heart of the Matter post on patience today. It spoke directly to my heart, as we too are going through one of the hardest weeks I can remember (since our daughters heart surgery last yr.) It seems the engine on our 2002 van needs replaced--the only car we have that fits our whole family, (6 of us) Our car ins. changed our auto withdraw by 3wks thus leaving us shocked at the unexpected bank statement, 3 of my 4 kids are tossing their cookies, my husband took a $500 a month pay cut, and I too am bombing my school work! Ahhh! Throughout these circumstances we have, however, seen the Lords hand at work. Keeping us safe, providing gracious friends and family, and hallelujah for nap time! Praise the Lord for his rainbows, and you are right--He does know we'll be okay in the end!!
Thank you and Blessings!!
