Decorating for Christmas

Harley made a Nutcracker soldier to hang on the tree.

His idea and my idea of 'hang' are very different.

I was in the process of decorating over the back door...

While Xander figured out that a swim mask was excellent for Darth Vader breathing sounds..

Milan decorated the little tree that was *supposed* to go overseas to Daddy.

He wouldn't have gotten it in time so we got this...

and we'll be needing this instead...

The kids were more excited than when they were making their ornaments

when they were able to hang them on the tree..

Someone got a bit carried away..

It's going to be a very good Christmas this year.

Outstanding!

You know, I still remember when Andrew was just about Zander's age... maybe a bit younger...

No swim mask required. He had my black polar fleece cape and a lightsaber, poised over our poor kitty saying, "Luke! I am your father!" LOL

I gave him a DV mask I think last year. It's very cool, although it does have some limitations. For example, while it does fit over my head, I can't really see out of it and all of the voice changing stuff doesn't work properly. *ahem* I mean... the voice changing stuff doesn't always work. Yeah...

Harley 'hangs' ornaments quite creatively.

I hope we are right in guessing that hubs will be home this Christmas, that would be so wonderful.

Well you did say "hang the ornament" didn't you? ROFL Your kids crack me up. As for the darth vader sounds, that's the very first thing my kids noticed about my husband wearing his c-pap mask at night. :)

Hugs,
Amanda

HAHAHA! Poor nutcracker! I love the homemade onaments. I have about one more year of calling the shots on the whole tree decor thing until I have to surrender to the will of the kiddos, so I am enjoying it while it lasts:)
