Oh, Milan.

Today we were at the evil....horrible....hate to even go by the parking lot... W-mart. Those who know me know how I hate this store.

And yet it was convenient and we needed bread and milk. And there's a Starbucks and a Michael's across the street. And I reasoned that they may have some Christmas items for super cheap.

Guess what--they did NOT have Christmas decorations worth buying.

The parking lot was--as usual--a nightmare.

The store was crowded and the people (customers, not store employees) were in a hurry and rude.

After dragging the kids through the store (and it taking waaayyyy longer than it should have navigate to through what was supposed to be 'convenient' I might add..) I was more than ready to run home for an extra-strength Advil and a nap.

As we headed for the door I heard my dear daughter talking to herself:

"I am going to work here when I grow up."

Me: "Whaa?"

Milan: "Yes, it seems like a great place to work, at least until I find me a husband."

Make that 2 Advil...

I feel your pain about W-Mart. I avoid taking my kids in there when at all possible - it's never a good scene. I hope you got to recuperate.
