Kitchen Oil Fire

I thought this was a great message to pass along. This video demonstrates why you should not throw water on a grease fire. The end of the video has a burn victim spokesperson, but I would not consider this graphic. It is 30 seconds long... so judge for yourself.

I have shown this to my children so that they commit it to memory.

This is great info. Just last week my brother had a fire in the kitchen, and his instinct was to go for the water. Which was a bad idea.
He got the fire out, but this information would have helped.
Thanks for sharing this with everyone.

God Bless,
Amy:)

Salt is good too. Puts it right out. It makes a mess, but when the firs is big enough, you want a fast solution and salt is it.
Lots of cooking kids and lots of practice.....
