Not Back to School Blog Hop: Week Two

I often get asked--in fact it is probably right behind questions on learning disabilities--where we "do school". It makes me smile. I get the warm fuzzies... this blog ain't chaotic for no reason, peeps. Here's how we roll:

In my office:

On the floor:

On the counter:

On the back porch:

 In the backyard:

At the coffee table:

At the table...a lot...in jammies, no less:

Beds, floors, tables, couch, desks, trampoline, etc.:

Window Sill:

So you see, the question is not "where we do school"--it's "where don't we"? We have a very relaxed, all over the house and other places, school room. Although... sometimes (with the exception of the great outdoors) I do long for a single room for school. One place to put things and a door to close at the end of the day.

I hope to gain some fantastic ideas on school rooms from this hop... perhaps we can narrow things down in the house. But for now, chaos rules.

Sounds a lot like our house! :-) Except I might add...at the park, at the beach (a lot), in the bush and even at times at the shopping centre (when we must!)

That's fabulous! It's exactly what homeschooling should be...I love it. We actually had a dedicated school room, and found it wasn't all it was cracked up to be. This year, the books are in the kitchen! :) Have fun this year!

Definitely agree with the others..this isn't chaos..this is living! :-)

I've been homeschooling for eleven years (this will be twelve) and until last year, I didn't have a homeschool room or even want one, but because of the needs of some of my kids, I had to make some big changes last year and we converted our family room into a homeschool "classroom". Your pictures made me feel nostalgic!

Love all the moving around! That makes it fun, right? We sport our PJ's during school hours most of the time too. :)

One of the great things about homeschooling: you can do it anywhere! And we have some jammie days, too! :)

I love it!! We do school all over too! We have a "classroom" but we never use it, it's just a place to store our stuff.

We migrate as well! And we all live in our pyjamas - I'm wondering how that'll fly when my daughter comes to work with me a few days a week this year. Maybe she can start a new trend.

Great photo's of your clan doing school... so where don't you do school?? I guess there really isn't anyplace where learning is off limits :)

Homeschool reminds me of Dr Seuss books: Would you eat it in a box, with a fox...would you learn it here or there....LOVE your pictures and so glad I dropped by your sweet blog!

I love it! We rock the jammie thing here quite often! And looks like your kiddos love science.

Can't beat the trampoline! We have a learning room, but we too spend a lot of time learning; pretty much anywhere there is something to be learned... lol.
